What is the Ooki Protocol (OOKI)?
Ooki Protocol is a community-run DeFi protocol that supports lending, borrowing, and margin trading services. It allows the creation of dApps that facilitate the interaction of lenders, borrowers, and traders with flexible DeFi protocols on multiple blockchains.
Ooki DAO manages the complete infrastructure of the Ooki protocol through the OOKI governance token. OOKI token gives its holders the voting right to govern the Ooki protocol through voting in the Ooki DAO. Furthermore, OOKI holders can also stake OOKI tokens to earn a part of the Ooki protocol fees that it charges for lending, trading, and borrowing services. It distributes 50% of its collected fees to OOKI token stakers and allocates the remaining 50% to Ooki protocol treasury and insurance funds.
The Ooki Protocol is currently compatible with Ethereum, Binance Smart chain, Arbitrum, and Polygon blockchains. Apart from the OOKI token, the Ooki platform also has iTokens and vBZRX tokens to facilitate the smooth functioning of the Ooki protocol.
